About 8:30 am on Friday, the doctor came in and released me from the hospital. The pediatrician came in and checked Ellie. I signed all the necessary paperwork, and Jason packed up the car. We made it home from the hospital around 11:00 am. More later...

I hope I get to come see your new addition to the family tomorrow. Auntie Jan can't wait to hold her. I've ridden many a baby on my lap and they all seem to like it. I never rocked Cailen, I just rode her around in the chair. She is so beautiful, and mom and dad are looking pretty good, too. I'm so happy for you all. I'll call tomorrow. Love--Jan
Congratulations Carmen and Jason - She is beautiful! Looks like all went well for you - just liked you planned it! That is great. Know that you both are enjoying this special time with Ellie. These will be memories that you will cherise forever. Let us know when we can come and see the baby and you (of course), but until then keep sharing your pictures. That pic of Jason is great! Ellie looks healthy and ready for the world. You were wise not to rush the birth process. She knew when the time was right. I'm so happy for all three of you! Keep posting pictures... she will be changing every day, and I want to keep up! Congratulations!
Congratulations on this adorable baby girl!! She is sure to keep you both busy for a while, but it is worth the trouble! We are so happy for your family. Babies are such a gift to be cherished.
