Feeling Better...

Ellie was feeling much better Friday afternoon. She played in the jumper, the Bumbo, and with her toys. She is still coughing, but things are looking up! She is drooling a bunch and sucking those fingers :)

The official word is...

Sinus infection...because of the green nose stuff and the coughing.

She received a prescription for an antibiotic and a cough suppressant. Jason called in and took the rest of the day off so he could stay home with her. We have another appointment tomorrow afternoon so that the doctor can check her again. But if things worsen...he told Jason to take her to LeBonheur tonight...because this could lead to pneumonia.

Jason asked about a nebulizer, but the doctor said that it doesn't seem like she needs that right now. He said it is usually used for when they are wheezing and needing the oxygen support.

The good things are that she doesn't have a fever, she hasn't lost any weight, she isn't wheezing (so no whooping cough), and she isn't totally lethargic.

Still Feelin' Yucky...

Jason is taking her to the doctor in the morning. He is armed with video...hehehe...in case she doesn't do the coughing and gagging in front of the doctor.

Sick Again...

Ellie started getting sick again on Sunday. I stayed home with her on Monday. She doesn't have a fever...just a runny nose, coughing, junky eyes, etc. She was somewhat better Monday night. So...Tuesday she went to daycare, but she was still coughing quite a bit. And then tonight she is still the same...not much better. I'll be calling the doctor tomorrow...I guess we will find out if he will do anything for her this time around.
