May 14th - Friday's appt.

• BP fine
• No weight gain
• NST fine
• Got a note for work regarding numerous appointments

May 17th - Monday's appt.

• BP fine
• 1 pound weight gain
• Fundal height measuring on target
• Doctor did a physical check and said the head was down
• NST fine...but the machine was giving crazy readings. The sound of the heartbeat would stay the same, but the machine was giving readings all over the place. However, the doctor said that it was a passing test. When things were steady, the heartbeat would read in the 120s and 130s.

Next appt: Monday, May 24th

More Monitor Fun...

Monday's appt:

• BP, blood sugar, weight...all fine
• NST for about an hour...owww...tailbone hurts!

Next appt: Thursday, May 13th. Yep...Monitor fun twice a week! Yippee!

Another Baby II Update

Update:

• BP fine
• Blood sugar fine
• No weight gain
• Fundal height measuring 32-33 weeks which is right on target
• Everything fine with NST...I was hooked up for almost an hour. I think they forgot about me.
• Found out that I am positive for GBS...just means IV antibiotics during labor and delivery

Next appointment: Monday, May 10th

Another Baby II Update

Another appointment today...

• My BP was 139/72
• I have gained back those 2 lbs. that I had lost last week
• Blood sugar levels look fine
• Heard the heartbeat
• Cervix was closed
• Had the Group B Strep test; will find out next time if I am "colonized"

Next appt. is on Thursday for a Fetal Non-Stress Test (NST).

Saturday Fun...

I decided to brave the weather on Saturday. Ellie and I made it to the gym, but we were about 10 minutes late. Just as we got in the building, the sirens started going off and we were shuffled into an interior hall for about 15 minutes. Once the sirens quit sounding, everyone resumed gym time. We played with hoops, balls, and bubbles. Ellie learned a new skill...a backward whoopsy-do on the bar. She can easily do a somersault down the "cheese" mat. But...I didn't get any pictures this week.

It was still raining when we left...so we went and hid out at Chuck E. Cheese for a little while.
