For the last 2 weeks, I have been taking pictures of students, looking at pictures of students, and naming pictures of students....UGH!!! The pictures have to be uploaded so that our students can receive ID badges when we return to school after Winter Break. And yeah...we have like 950 students. So....I am "pictured" out when I get home :)

I do have some newer ones of Ellie at home...but I am at school and this is what I have that hasn't been seen.

A Visit to the Enchanted Forest...

A picture Jason took before the docent lady swooooooped down on us and told us that we couldn't take flash pictures. Uh oh...

This is me putting Ellie's right shoe back on for the 1st time...eventually I gave up. Later we went to the flea market at the fairgrounds...and she kept removing her right shoe and sock. At least 10 people spoke up to tell us that our kid had lost her shoe.

Teeth!!!

Ellie has the start of two bottom teeth!!! We just noticed them over the weekend. WooHoo!!! Teeth at 10 months!!

Of course, she will barely let us see them...and even if she would let me pull her bottom lip down my camera will not take a good close-up. Maybe in a few days we can try for a pic, but until then here is a funny:

Lost and then Found!

Judy and I drove around the neighborhood and put up flyers for Max. We put the last one up at the west end of our street. Two kids were sitting on the back patio and they saw me place the sign. Judy and I turned the car around and drove back to the house. As we were trying to get in the door, the lady who lives at the corner was walking down the sidewalk, followed by the two kids. She hollered out, "Is this your dog?" Guess what? IT WAS MAX! He decided he needed a three day vacation from the Carr household. She said that he was on her doorstep when she was leaving for church on Sunday and he jumped in the car with her.

All is well again...and he is little chunky from all the eating he did on his vacation!

Where, Oh Where...

...did my little dog go? Max ran away from home on Sunday. I put him in the backyard, and we think he crawled out under the fence. We've looked all over, and Jason walked around the block. Maybe someone picked him up? He had been with us for 8 years. :*(

Edited to add: I called the Animal Shelter today (Tuesday). No Max...but I left my name and number for them to call in case he came in.
