30 Minutes from Sunday, Aug. 3rd

I thought I would post some pictures from last weekend...you know...happy times...before we went back to work and Ellie went back to daycare. This is also a chance to showcase Ellie's new highchair that we purchased with Uncle Michael's giftcard.

Last week was LOOOONNNGGG. As librarians, we get inundated with many requests for all sorts of things. And then people just take stuff, and I spend several hours searching for tools to do my job. Ya'll ever have that happen? I left that hammer laying right there, and then moments later it was gone. I thought I was losing my mind on Tuesday because I could not find my hammer....AHHHH!!!!

Jason and I presented at our library in-service, and thankfully, it is over. Jason always looooves to speak in front of a crowd...ehhh..me, not so much. But, I didn't pass out or have weird heat flashes with periods of not knowing where I was. So...all was good. It went well, and we will try to present at the Tennessee Association of School Librarians in Franklin, TN.

By the way...4 days back in daycare, and Ellie is sick. Ahhh...the joys of having someone else raise your kid. Blech..I hate runny green stuff :)

I was letting her try out her new "bang on the keyboard" skills while trying to take her picture. Can you read the message on the computer screen? She hit enter before I realized what it said...lesson learned for me :)
