As many know, Jason teaches computers and networking at Mid-South Community College. To show off his prowess at computer programming skills, he wired the house lights up to our laptop and created a music file. After Jimmy helped him create the display boxes for the instruments (resembling the instruments playing in the song), he set the whole thing in motion.
This is the result after several hours of listening to "I Saw Three Ships" and programming the computer to turn the lights on and off to the beats. Both videos are on YouTube and you will need to turn up your volume as the camera was recording the music coming from the car stereo speakers (yes...he even built an FM transmitter for the music and we broadcast on 87.7 FM).
So...we thought we were getting a good deal on a kitchen for Ellie. And it was good deal for $20...but the box didn't warn you that there was going to be some sweat equity involved.
All of the pieces out of the box...
About an hour later...finally Jason was all finished
A picture Jason took before the docent lady swooooooped down on us and told us that we couldn't take flash pictures. Uh oh...
This is me putting Ellie's right shoe back on for the 1st time...eventually I gave up. Later we went to the flea market at the fairgrounds...and she kept removing her right shoe and sock. At least 10 people spoke up to tell us that our kid had lost her shoe.
