In honor of dear Dr. Seuss the old great,
(Who, if he were still kicking, would be just one-o-eight),
We thought we would sit down and put in the time,
To blog recent photos in Seussical rhyme.
‘Twas the dinos that drew us that bright morning day,
But we visited other old faves ‘long the way,
Like the monkeys, gorillas, and loud siamangs,
Then Ellie got posed as a giant orang.
The giraffes, the flamingos, and ostriches too,
Were some of the things that we saw at the zoo,
Were some of the things that we saw at the zoo,
And speak of giraffes! Ellie found one that went,
Simply splayed at the knees as she forwardly bent.
So the seal that we saw was a-sunnin' herself,
As she sat on the side of the slippery shelf,
We sat for the show, and the girls had no trouble,
When they sat on the side of the seal's poolside bubble.
And lastly we found it was time to arrive,
In the land where the dinosaurs still lived and thrived,
They were massive and moving and roared from their bellies,
The Gi-gan-a-to-saur-us scared Bailey and Ellie!

They watched Baryonyx and laughed as he spit.
The ride on a T-Rex was such a great hit.
Then into the sand pit for fun times colossal,
They grabbed up their sifters and dug up a fossil.
The last thing to see was the gift shop--of course,
We made it right through without using great force,
But something I saw fit one daughter of mine,
Believe it or not, there it was...Bailey's sign.
Then outside the shop, well it grew pretty loud,
As the children piled up and formed a small crowd
'Round the dino that wriggled and really could flex,
So Ellie then petted a puppet T-Rex.
So that was our trip to the zoo to see dinos,
And here's one of Ellie in front of a Rhino.
But where's Katie, you say? Well, she slept through the whirl,
Be we still took a shot of that beautiful girl.
