Well that sucked!

Since I failed the 1 hour glucose tolerance test (GTT) at my last doctor's appt, I had to go today and be subjected to a 3 hour GTT. Well, now you can just call me "Sticky." The nurse drew blood four times, and I had to sit in the waiting room from 8:00 am until 11:30 am. After witnessing all the waiting room drama, 4 patient's rooms, and 2 different nurses, I came home...traumatized. I HATE NEEDLES. Only good thing: the nurses are competent and I only had to pretend to be a pin cushion 4 times. At least they found the veins on the first tries. Oh...and did I mention that they drew blood FOUR times? :) Just wait until the end of this "game," I am sure that there will be lots of tears and lots of yelling about "NO NEEDLES!" Just wait...you won't want to be there...cause it won't be pretty! :P

Jason has already discussed his 32 mile trek on bike this past weekend. While he was peddlin' away, I walked in the "Making STRIDES for Breast Cancer Awareness" walk at AutoZone Park. Some of my co-workers and I walked in this; however, we didn't make it all the way :) We turned around once we got the Amtrak station. Then Jason, Momma, and I went to the flea market at the Fairgrounds. We bought a rug and some Steelers stuff.

Once we returned home on Saturday, we worked on Ellie's room. I still need to clean the closet out, and we want paint some letters to hang over the crib. Here are some pictures of our progress:
