Last Wednesday, I had my last appointment with the high-risk doctor. Everything looks fine. Jokingly, the doctor said that they had seen about as much as they could with the baby still on the inside.
The baby was a tad bit uncooperative. She would barely turn over so that the technician could see her face. She made me turn different ways on the exam table, and eventually tilted the table all the way back. She saw enough of the face to confirm that there weren't any problems, but I was just about upside down while she made that determination.
Info:
- Heartbeat: normal @ 142 bpm
- Weight of the baby: 1 pound, 1 ounce
- Cervix: long and closed
- Yep...still a girl!
- Baby was head down
- Measuring about two days ahead
Spine shot...baby is face down

Here is the picture that the technician took when she, very quickly and
without hesitation, stated that the baby was definitely
a girl...ummm...yeah...I don't see it either...

My next appointment with my regular doctor is in the middle of February.
